After reconciling my bank statements for tax season, I too noticed the $29.95 per month charge to my credit card account like the other consumer complaints filers. I called the number given in the consumer complaints and spoke to a woman who was willing to refund one month's charge and resend the CD that I was supposed to have signed up for but never received. When I asked to be transferred to her supervisor, she put me on hold at which point I was mysteriously disconnected.
I called back and spoke to a gentleman who put his supervisor on the line. After going round and round with Kendra regarding a website that I visitied and a service that I supposedly signed up for, I told her that I never knowingly purchased anything from her company, never received any CD and never received any ongoing service that would constitute a $29.95 per month charge.
"As a courtesy to me" Kendra was willing to refund 5 months worth of charges, but not the 9 months that were actually charged. I told her that was unacceptable, and that I was familiar with her company's fradulent practices after seeing several reports on the internet. I also told her that I would be contacting the better Business Bureau and the Attorney General's office at which point she offered to refund the entire $269.55.
I will update this site if and when I actually get the refund.
