On February 15 Sherry D. From Infocom called our small business. My husband and I were out. Our employee answered her call and thought he said yes to a "free" and "complementary" some kind of listing. He had no idea he was saying yes to an advertising gimmick that costs money. We are a mom and pop business with one employee. We don't advertise.
On March 20th, Chrystal from Infocom's accounts reeceivable called to ask where my payment was. This was the first I knew about Infocom, so I immediatly asked her to cancel my subscription or whatever it is. (I'm still unclear about what they sell.)
It was, of course, impossible to cancel because it had been 35 days since Sherry D.'s call. Now, had it been within 30 days, of course they would have been happy to cancel me. Yeh, Right! I wasn't even aware of this whole mess until 35 days afterwards. What a scam!
