About a year ago, I felt honored as a small home-based business owner to receive in the mail an invitation complete with a so-called invitation code to be included in a forthcoming edition of Strathmore's WHO'S WHO. According to the letter, this honor recognizes those who have achieved success in their profession. What a joke! I sent my money in at that time, and soon discovered that their circle of membership was nothing but just that.
Today I received a 2nd invitation in as many weeks to join their forthcoming edition. It was the same letter that I fell for about a year ago, with the very same acceptance code. They are soliciting me even after I have been a so-called member for approximately the past year. They don't even know that I've already paid into their scam.
Apparently, they keep no valid or active records of who sends them money because of this great honor being bestowed, because they send mailers to those already who have fallen victim to their scam letter. I have removed their logo from all of my Company stationary and business cards to minimize my embarrassment for being so stupid, and only hope that my clients do not become aware of my stupidity. Do not fall for their scam. Shred their letter!
