In June 06 I ordered a yrs subscription to People Magazine through the website MagsforLess.com. After waiting the 12 weeks I was told it would take to receive my first issue and never receiving it, I contacted co.
I was told me visa was processed on June 1 06 but my order was not. Via e mail I was told the order was being put through but it would take up to another 12 weeks. I then asked for a refund. I received an e mail from a Andrew Melville, VP of customer support who said my refund would be processed and it would take up to four business days for the refund to be posted to my credit card. This was on Nov 4th.
Here it is Feb 07 and I am still waiting for that refund. There is no phone number on their website for me to call, the only way to contact them is via e mail.
I believe this co. Is a total fraud who rips off consumers, takes their money, laughing all the way to the bank.
I contacted my credit card co who told me they could not do anything because the dispute was not made within the time frame set by Visa.
