Golden group, do not trust keller williams realty ripoff

I found a Townhouse in Forclosure in Lee's Summit Missouri (JP Morgan Chase Bank had the mortgage) and Golden Group a subsiduary of Keller Williams Realty was handeling the property. I was contacted by a man by the name of Mr. Woodall a representative, We discussed the possability of my purchasing the property, although I still owned a townhouse in Florida.

I was approved for a loan of $115,000.00 considered a NO DOC STATED INCOME LOAN. I was told by "Woody" that my payments would be around $738.00. That was great. I was faxed by Linda Hamm, agent with the Golden Group requesting $1,000 earnest money, which I quickly sent. I accepted a job in the new location and everything was going smooth until I arrived in Missouri. 5 weeks had passed and I was under the impression that everything was OK and I would close on the new property 10/9.

That very day I was contacted by "Woody" that he needed my Tax Return, well it was 1500 miles away, why didn't he ask for it before, he said well you knew you would need it, it a very rude degrading manner. It told me there would be a $50.00 a day fine to me for not closing within the next week because I could not get the documentation he was requesting. (He said it in a very threatening way) He also said I had lied about my income, when I had sent him 13 months of bank statements 5 weeks earlier. Where was he for the previous 5 weeks? It got so bad I told Linda Hamm I didn't want to deal with him anymore, he was so insulting and rude.

I had my laptop flown up at a cost of $48.20 and printed the return and on 10/15 I was contacted by Golden group to come in and sign papers, which I did. I was put in a room by myself and told to sign all the papers which I did, not knowing what I was signing. I questioned one paper and they said it was waiving the penalty fee for closing late and that my $1000 earnest money was going to be applied to my loan. So I signed it, stupid, stupid stupid.

When I got to closing I started signing and got approximately half way through, The closing statement said I owed $2,000 money from borrower, $550.00 was listed as penalty for late closing, but the $1,000 was applied. (I was told numerous time by Linda Hamm with Golden Group that I didn't need to bring a dime to the table) I got to another paper and it said my loan payment was going be over $1100.00, I don't remember the exact amount and I never got copies of anything. I said No deal, this was it, I could not live with this payment no matter what. Well they kept my $1,000 earnest money.

I feel I was scammed by Keller Williams for numerous reasons,
1) I was mislead reguarding the payment amount.
2) I was almost charged unfair fees of penalty for not closing on time.
3. I was never given copies of anything, I understand now that is a federal law.
4. I was not really informed of what I was signing.
5. I was insulted over & over again by their rep "Woody" which they are fully aware of, even the broker was supposed to get involved, which he never had the courtesy to call me.
6. And to top it all off they kept my $1,000 ernest money.

I don't have $1,000 to donate. They might as well be the grinch that stole xmas, since i was out in the cold for a place to live, i had to quickly find a small place to rent. And come up with even more deposit money.
Is this how realtors are making their money now? And i am sure jp morgan chase bank has more money that i do. They will never get rid of the houses that have forclosed on at this rate or if they keep using the golden group for sales.
