I monitored my account everyday online. I would have, for example, small charges of $2.18, $15.00, $25.00 and a larger charge of $100. I would see "pending charges" and then make a deposit that same day to cover those charges; The deposit would also be pending.
The very next day, the bank reverses the order — paying the bigger check first, and charging me overdrafts of $33.00 each, up to $150.00 a day. I had printed the screen shot of the order it had actually appeared, and sometimes would get a reversal of the overdraft charge, and sometimes not.
Finally, they closed my account when my account was NOT overdrafted, and immediately after my direct PAYROLL deposit of $3,700 was deposited. They would not pay ANY of my checks (monthly bills), and have caused me severe damage regarding my car payments and other important bills.
Today, two weeks later, I am still arguing with the Loss Prevention Deaprtment of Wells Fargo to receive the "remainder of my money to pay my bills (they only paid a $95.00 check card charge—outo f $3,700), to get to work, to eat, etc. Not only do I have to wait over 3 weeks to get my money, but they insist on MAILING it to me instead of letting me pick up my money. I will be almost a month without any funds by the time I receive the check.
Wells Fargo reverses the order of checks and deposits received in order to charge excessive overdraft charges, and I have pointed this out numerous times to them. I have taken screen shots to prove the change in order of transactions.
If a lawyer wishes to pursue a class action against them, I would be willing to be a lead plaintiff. I am a bonded Notary Public and certified paralegal and I feel I do not deserve what they have done to me. I presently continue to await my check from them and am without funds. Many people are in the same position as I and I am sure would also be willing to expose Wells Fargo's fraulent bank practices.
