April 22 I signed a contract that came to a total of $8,990, and I paid $2300 on my credit card. It left me with a balance of $6690. I received a "NOTICE OF CANCELLATION" form incase I wanted to canceled by 4/26/06 midnight. It was recommended to send the cancellation notice "via certified or registered mail. I mailed it out on April 25th (certified mail) and the return card shows that they received it April 28th by Barbara Smith. Attached to the cancellation notice I stated that I would like to purchase the tradeseeker at the $1,995 price. If this cannot be processed at this price, cancel the whole transaction.in the meanwhile I'm waiting on a call if they were going to approve the purchase. NO ONE never called me to inform me of the approval. At this time I had just made up my mind that I could not use the software anyway, because I needed to go to the classes to understand how to use the software. I also just assumed that they had just cancelled the whole transaction.

Come May I received my credit card statement showing a credit from TMTT, Cape Coral, Fl for $345.50. OK, I called the customer service department to ask why was the $345.50 refunded and not the whole amount ($2300)? The gentlemen answered that they honored my statement to purchase the tradeseeker software. I told him that I was waiting on a call in reference to my request and thought they had decided to cancel the whole transaction. And since I didn't receive a call I had changed my mind, because I could not afford the required classes to use the software and I wanted to cancel the whole payment. So he ask me, "so do you want me to go ahead and cancel the whole transaction? And I said yes. Then I ask, would it be on my next credit card statement? He said yes it would.

Come June, No refund on my credit card. I called back and explained to the lady that answered and she transfered me to the Student Resolution Dept into the voice mail of Mark. I was instructed by the voice mail to fax a resolution explanation of my problem. I did that and DID NOT get a telephone respond, but I got a email message from Mark stating that in reference to my resolution fax that I would not get a refund. I email him back and stated that I was told that I would get a refund and it would be on my June cc statement. He never respond back. I have called and left messages and no one calls me back.

I need to know if I have a case in getting my refund back of $1,955. I have no job and I really need this credited back to my account. I know I made the request to purchase the software and changed my mind. But I realized that the software was useless without the classes and they know that. And I was told by their customer service employee that I would get the refund, because he understood that I needed the classes to use it, but I could not afford it.
