I received a card stating that for $299.97 I could receive $5,000 in grants. I borrowed some money from a family member to get the grants. I just tried calling today to find out what's going on and all numbers are disconnected. I learned today that I got scammed.
All they needed was $300.00 and I would be sent a package in the mail to complete and send back. They also asked for my checking account information. My account was debited for this amount.
Since all of the commercials are on T.V. About getting government grants I believed every word they said. So I gave them my information. I did get the package in the mail and filled it out and sent it back. It was around august before I sent it back.
I called my bank today but they said because it has passed 60 days they can not do anything about it. I am just so frustaded now because I can't do anything.
Please if anyone know anything about these company let me know so I file a claim too.
