I signed my child up for karate lessons and payed a monthly fee to Sensei/Instructor Askins for my childs lessons. During the course of enrollment, I was required to purchase sparring gear and other safety items for my childs protction sold by Sensei Askins.
On or about the third month, the day after I had paid my childs tuition, the karate studio shut down and closed it's doors with no prior notice given to it's students and gave no forwarding contact information.
I believe Sensei askins intentionally waited to collect all tuition from his students and required his students to purchase additional items he sold to make as much money before shutting down and disappearing. Recently ENJUTSU KAI KARATE has re-established business once again in Apple Valley.
I approached Sensei askins at his new location and asked him for a refund of my childs tuition which I paid him prior to him closing his doors, or he could give my child Karate lessons for one month at no charge.
Sensei Askins said "I'm not even going to go there".
He turned and walked away from me with no further reply.
