I'm a former employee of Volt, while I was working for them I saw how corupt and money hungry the managment aka Don Campbell really was. I'm an african american male in my 30s and hold a BA in Electrical Engineering. While I was employed with them I found out that the caucasan male that was hired the same time I was with no experiance and no collage education was making over 16k more a year than I was and I have a BA in the realted field and over 15 years of experiance.
When I aproached Don about this he threatened me with termination for knowing what others made instead of admiting that they had mad a mistake. He tried to cover by saying that the the site we worked at payed based on experiance but once I pointed out the other workers lack of experiance an education, Don then said the site just payed Volt differnt rates and Volt then paid us based on that rate. That was is second lie in a row because I found out from the sites acounting department that they paid the same rate for both me and the other worker.
Wich means that volt was just pocketing the 16k from me and hoping that with their threating to terminate anyone who talked about their wages they wouldn't get cought ripping people off.
I found a better job soon after this and I advise anyone working for them to do the same and if you thinking about woring for them I would defenatly seek out other options.
