I monitor my credit card on a regular basis, and noticed an unauthorized charge for $9.00 to my account from WLI Reservation Rewards.com. I googled it, and found many complaints!
I called my credit card co. To inquire, and they informed me that when I bought concert tickets online (nextticketing.com), I must have clicked on the $10 coupon toward your next purchase.By doing that, it seems you ACCEPT "membership"! I never gave them my personal information... They get it from the site where I bought my tickets.
Unlike many others, I caught it early and they only billed me for one month. My credit card company easily refunded the amount. I then called WLI Reservation Rewards to cancel my "membership", but would not give them any more info than they already had about me! While I was clarifying that I wanted to cancel online, I received an email confirming cancellation of my "membership".
My bank must have contacted them immediately (they dont play games when it comes to fraud), and it was sooo fast that I think WLI Reservation Rewards must have an automatically generated cancellation email! I sent an email to everyone I know to watch out for this organization. I am also contacting the online ticket sales company and letting them know that if they continue to support such a SCAM, I will not buy from them.
I posted this because I agree with the others that this must be stopped!
