This scam happened to me 3 months ago and I found out by checking my bank statement, $9.00 charge. I called Reservation Rewards and asked how I got singed up for this, They just said I must have some how. They canceled my enrollment and gave my $9.00 back.
On 05/22/04 my wife made a purchase from Joann.com and was offered 10% off on next purchase. She started to fill out the form but quit when it asked for a credit card.
I saw in my e-mails, Reservation Rewards, Thanks for joining.
I e-mailed them and told them to cancel it because we did not sign up for it and if they didn't I was going to the attorney general and consumer affairs.
Reservation rewards wrote back saying we gave them permission to bill our credit card used at Joann.com for $9.00 a month.
They did say they would cancel our membership and was sorry to lose us.
I'd like to know what Joann.com gets out of it, or does joann.com know Reservation Rewards is stealing our credit Card info from them, or does Joann.com give it to them???
