Attended two classes at AIU, I had to withdraw because AIU refused to register for a purchase order number with my employer after saying that they would when I first signed up. They got all of the paper work and agreement from my employee on how they would pay and paying up front for classes that I had not even pass yet was not an option; yet I was enrolled anyway.
My HR representation not only called on my behalf but also send out several emails and the paperwork. I am employed by the Commonwealth of Virginia and they have over 100 colleges and universities that sign up for the purchase order to be paid. I properly and timely withdrew on June 28,2206, the next class I would have taken would have start end of July way before they should have billed my employer because they collected enough from my student loans to cover the 2 classes I completed.
I thought it was over with as I started a new on-line university. Since December to present I have been receive collection calls and threat letters to pay up or else. I have decided some other past students in class action suite against AIU as they have had similar and some of the same problems. I am tired of the calls 2 -3 times per day up to 9:15 P.M. At night; this is disturbing and interrupting my already declining health. Please help me. Thank you.
