In 2004 I paid approximately $30,000 to Pantheon for 2 public access internet terminals. To date I have only received one of these machines and that was after having to track the machine down myself. This was supposed to be a turnkey operation but once I began asking Pantheon for receipts to have for my records I began to realize that there was a problem.
First Pantheon insisted upon exchanging money through wire transfers and when I asked for receipts they would tell me that the wire transfer receipt was all I needed. Then as I began working with the locators I noticed that every time I would call the company the person I had been working with would no longer be there and I would have to start all over with a new person. It seemed I could never get the same person on the phone twice. Suddenly my calls were no longer being accepted. Next I knew the phones had been turned off and the company had gone out of business taking my money with them.
This company cheated me out of my hard earned money. Of the two machines I paid for I only ever received one. Now, I am stuck with this machine that I can do nothing with because I dont have access to the services to put the machine into operation— these were services that had been promised to me by Pantheon and services for which I had paid.
