I got a call that I was eligible for a $8,000 grant. I refused the call because I did not want to disclose bank info. On the phone to a company I was not familiar with. I told them to send me a check and deduct the cost of the stamp and envelope. They refused and we said our goodbyes.
A few days later I got another phone call this time for my fiance saying she was eligible, she was not around so I gave them my account with $11.00 in it I was planning to close. They told me in 2-3 days there would be $8,000 deposited into my account and then make sure that I left in $49.95 to be withdrawn after the deposit as a processing fee.
So I just left the $11.00 in there and four days later, my account was overdrawn and I owed the bank $53.00. Now I was pissed cause the next6 day they called sayin I was eligable for the grant and when confronted they said it was a technical error and they wanted my new bankin info. To deposit the money.
When I recieved they package I called Advantage America and they refused to repay my $49.95 and said after my account was charged $299.95 then I would recieved grant info. They are misleading con-artists. Whatever you do refuse them, it is a scam.
