I have been a loyal USbank customer for years. Yes I have had the occasional slip up and gone into the red. Most recently I have become overdrafted. Most banks if you compile a substantial amount of negative balance fees they will notify you, not let you spend anymore money or offer you a repayment plan. I emailed US bank to find someone that could help me out. Guess what... There is not a single person in the enitre US bank company that can offer me any help at all. Hmm. With a company this large there has got to be something that can be done... Right? Yeah, there is. They will charge me 7 dollars a day, every day my account is in a negative balance. Once they are satisfied with the amount of money they have taken they will then charge off the account, send it to a little company called chex systems (which allows you to not get another checking account anywhere) and then send it to a collections agency.
I have three options The first is mentioned above, let them charge the heck out of me and then screw me. My next is option is to let my paycheck get deposited into my account so they can take the whole thing and I can still be in the negative. Thus only lowering my balance a little bit, and screwing me royally for my bills which will get me evicted, starved and frozen to death.
My last option is to find a way to make them change for the consumer. They say they are here for the customer but they are only here for the customer's money. They are crooks and need to be brought to justice. If anyone has the power to check their practices and bring some resolution to their scams that would be greatly appreciated. I have had many instances with them where they have royally screwed me and there was nothing I could do about it. They actually stole 80 dollars cash from me and I had a witness. They did not care and neither did the better business bureau. I have a million cheat stories from them so ask and I will tell you more. This will not be the only place I report them but it is a start. I want to bring them down!
