Well, I'm another victim of "reservations rewards", with charges of $9 each month for something unwanted and not requested. I note on Rip-Off, that many of us victims associate this or that web site as the source of the fraud. But I think I trace it to a transaction at a gift shop, not the internet.
What I would like to know is how do they get the card and personal info? Scary. One has to change account and card at the bank. Shame on me for taking months to notice, thinking spouse signed up for something, never checked it out.
The bank has been good and I will be filing a fraud report - glad I have learned to pay closer attention to bank statements and maybe will learn how resrewards signed us up without us knowing.
