On July 19, I there was a charged $159.95 for a VIP Pre-paid Visa card. I was told that it would take 3 weeks to get here. I called the company on the 19, and they told me that it would be impossible to get a refund for the money that I gave them. Giving into what they had told me I them to send me my card anyway. I also told them if it is impossible to get my money back then I might as well have the card that I paid for. The representative told me that it would take 3 weeks for it to get to me so I waited.
Three weeks passed and I called their number and got the run around. I was switch from one number to another until finally I was able to talk someone that told me that the hipcash/VIP Pre-paid Visa card company divison was no longer active.
They also told me that when I called previously that I cancelled and that I didn't request for the card itself. They finally told me that they would finish my processing and send the card out to me within 3 weeks. It has been 4 weeks and I still haven't received my card or any other explanation on to where is my card.
I wonder if it is to late to get my refund. I know it has been over the 60 day limit to go to my bank. And if I do get my refund I no longer have that same bank account.
I know that it was a kind of foolish of me. I only had one weakness and that was trusting that their are good business people out there that wouldn't take advantage of me. I was goolable and trustworthy of a business that I thought would stand by their word. I hope that there is some way to make this right.
