This company or whatever it may be called me in the evening in early June to offer me a VISA credit card. (yeah, they actually used Visa's name) Of course, since I was looking to get my first credit card, stupid me, gave them all my PERSONAL information.
They told me I was pre-approved, and that I would receive my card by certified mail in 3-4 business days. They also told me that when I got the card, to take a cash advance on it, put the $298.00 (which was a one time start up fee) into my bank account, and it would come out on July 3rd.
Needless to say, I NEVER received anything certified, or anything period. I called my bank for the past two weeks before this money was taken out, and they told me to pull all my money out so they could not take anything. Well... They still managed to take the $298.00 out of my accout, that I don't have, and now I owe my bank over $300.00. Although, I still need to fill out my dispute report at the bank, so maybe I can be reimbersed, but you never know.
Also, I did let Visa know that they used their name, and Visa is now filing something against this company. Not to mention, I have called their "fake" number every hour on the hour, and have not heard anything back yet. Is there anyone out there that can help??!!??!!
