MyPerfectCredit And 1st Credit Of America
MyPerfectCredit - 1st Credit Of America gathering people to file suit, ripoff Write a CEASE and DESIST letter to 1st Credit of America see letter inside

Wow! I am absolutely amazed as to how many people MyPerfectCredit and 1st Credit of America are robbing as well as harrassing. I too, like the rest of you have the very same story (I'll spare you of the agonizing details).

I hope every one of you takes this extremely serious. These people are robbing each and every one of us. We absolutely must stop them!!! I too have spent my fair time on the phone arguing with these people and I'm DONE with that.

I am gathering as many people as I can together to assure this issue is not only noticed by proper authorites but organize a law suit. Hundreds upon hundreds of people are being robbed by these people and not enough is being done (if anything). Obviously what ever is currently being done is not working. I'm more than willing to take this to the next step. This is America people, we have rights!

This site does not allow me to post my e-mail address for all of you to get ahold of me... Otherwise I would. However I can gather people by asking anyone who is interested to respond to this complaint and then going from there.

In the mean time these are the following steps I have taken. Please everyone do the same to help stop this!!! I can guarentee that if enough of us follow these steps, there may not be need for a law suit (yeah right...)

1. Write a CEASE and DESIST letter to 1st Credit of America. When you mail this make sure it is certifed mail. The letter I wrote is as follows (feel free to copy and paste):

*
July 29

Certified Mail - Return Receipt Requested

Name of you 1st Credit of America harrasser,
1st Credit of America
300 N. Elizabeth
Suite 220B
Chicago, IL 60607

To Whom it May Concern:

You are hereby notified under the provisions of Public Laws 95-109 and 99-361, also known as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, that your services are not desired.

1. You and your organization must CEASE & DESIST all attempts to collect the above debt. Do not call me at work, home, nor contact any of my friends or family. Do not call or contact me in any way.

2. The balance you have stated to me is not valid much less accurate for I have never had an account with MyPerfectCredit.com. I utilized their services for their FREE credit report. I cancelled via fax as specified by MyPerfectCredit.com within the allotted five day window. I have confirmation of this fax stating that it was both sent and received within this five day window.

3. Let this letter also serve as your warning that I will utilize telephone-recording devices in order to document any telephone conversations that we may have in the future, should you disregard this notice.

4. Furthermore, if any negative information is placed on my credit bureau reports by your agency after receipt of this notice, this will cause me to file suit against you and your organization, both personally and corporately, to seek any and all legal remedies available to me by law.

It is my policy neither to recognize nor deal with collection agencies. If MyPerfectCredit.com continues to dispute my refusal to pay their erroneous charges, they can contact me directly. Enclosed is an e-mailed correspondence indicating I cancelled via fax on March 7.

Sincerely,

*

2. Send a letter to as many Attorney Generals that you can afford stamps to do so. Enclose in this a letter both the CEASE and DESIST letter you wrote as well as any documented proof that you DO NOT OWE THESE FRAUDS ONE RED CENT! You can look up the addresses of any attorney general in any state just by googling it. VERY EASY! The letter I wrote was as follows:

*

Name of Attorny General
Office of the Attorney General
Address of Attorney General

Attorney General's name:

I am writing you this letter in regards to a fraudulent internet company by the name of MyPerfectCredit.com. This particular company has continually charged my account for a service that I did not request. They did this via my bank debit card. On March 6 I signed up to order a free credit report through MyPerfectCredit.com with the understanding that all charges would be halted and refunded if cancellation was done within a five day window. On March 7 I faxed a cancellation request and I have the documentation verifying that it was both sent and received within the allotted five day window. At this time however, cancellation was not implemented. I put in a dispute with my bank and they verified that MyPerfectCredit.com would be unauthorized to take money out of my account. Since then no charges have been taken out of my account.

Continuing for the last week, a collection agency by the name of 1stCredit of America has continued to call me about a debt I have with MyPerfectCredit.com. They continue to call requesting that I pay the above debt before they put negative marks on my credit report. I have sent in a CEASE & DESIST letter to the 1st Credit of America collection agency so they stop contacting me for the above erroneous charges.

I have been doing research on the company and have discovered that I am not alone in this matter with this particular company. I have found hundreds of people who have had the very same story to tell, but unfortunately many of them can not stop the charges coming out of their bank accounts. I hope you will forward this letter on to your fraud units. Something needs to be done to stop these people from literally robbing people.

I appreciate your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

*

3. Report both 1st Credit of America as well as MyPerfectCredit to the Better Business Bureau. They already have an F, but the more reports they get the more investigation efforts go into it. I want hundreds of reports to go in there... PLEASE!!!

4. Send the same letter that you sent to the Attorney Generals but send them to as many Federal Trade Commission regions that you can afford stamps to do so. I sent the letters to the following regions (all of them):

Southwest Region
Federal Trade Commission
1999 Bryan Street, Suite 2150
Dallas, TX 75201-6808

Midwest Region
Federal Trade Commission
55 East Monroe Street, Suite 1860
Chicago, IL 60603-5701.

Northeast Region
Federal Trade Commission
1 Bowling Green
New York, NY 10004

Northwest Region
Federal Trade Commission
2896 Federal Building, 915 Second Avenue
Seattle, WA 98174.

Southeast Region
Federal Trade Commission
Suite 1500
225 Peachtree Street., NE
Atlanta, GA 30303.

Western Region
Federal Trade Commission
901 Market Street, Suite 570
San Francisco, CA 94103

Western Region
Federal Trade Commission
10877 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 700
Los Angeles, California 90024

5. Send a copy of the CEASE and DESIST letter, Federal Trade Commission letter, Attorney General letters, and any proof of cancellation (faxes or e-mails) to MyPerfectCredit. This letter should be certified as well. Their address (if it hasn't changed in the last day) is:

My Perfect Credit, INC.
3187 Red Hill Avenue Suite 100
Costa Mesa, CA 92626

6. Contact your local FBI and prepare to give them copies of all the letters and any other proof you have that these people are fraudulent. Refer them to this website.

7. Contact any local media. We have to spread the word.

6. Lastly, protect yourself by putting a fraud alert on your credit report. Call Equifax: 1-888-766-0008. This allows an alert each and every time there is anything opened etc.in your name. Before anything can be opened you must be notified and asked permission.

I hope this helps you all out! For me it is no longer about the stupid $65 dollars they want to steal, it is the principle of the whole thing. These people are getting away with something completely and entirely unlawful, not to mention making millions while doing it.
