Ripoff they harassed and lied to me and charged my bank account into the negative

I was called over a month ago and fell for the trick and gave them what tey wanted be cause i just lost my job and needed health benefits for my self and why not get a grant to smooth my life troubles it sounded to goood to be true and it was i went thru there verification after being given what i later found out to be false and fraudgulant information on what i would be recieving which was a 12500$ gov. Grant and 19.95 health plan thru the federal government. I was told the 29.95 was the processing and shipping fee.

Well almost a month went by and no charge then i start getting these calls on my cell and only phone from a 0000-000-00 # and also unknown # also 000-xxx-xxxx (blah blah) and every person that called me was a very hard to understand mideastern/india type person i am not predudice but i had to say what and repeat that over and over agian and still not understanding everything like i should still they pushed me thru to (reverification) and told me i would not be charged the 29$ or the 299.95 until they deposited the whole grant funding to my bank acct but wanted to record me giving permission to withdraw and recieve but the recording in the end never said anything about recieving money into the acct. If i said no or didnt answer? S right they would hang up and call back and tell me what i had to say to get off my phone.

One night i was shopping with my son and my mom they called me o ver thirty times finally my mom answered the the phone with hello they didnt even verify it was me and sent my mom straight to verification and proceeded to give my mother my routing and acct # to verify then she told them it wasnt me and they became rude and told mom to put me on phone she wouldnt they hung up and called back even after 9pm i was in tears and shaking with frustration and fear as the harrassment ended for that night.

I called my bank service rep and checked for any suspicious activity in amount of 29.95 and 299.95 and asked for a note to be placed in acct for future referance if needed and wanted to know how to change my bank #s.

Sure enough a week later my acct was in negative and i was scared and my partner was mad at me and i tried and tried to call the 800# they provided to me and no anwer or they would answer long enough to just hang up and waste my cell mins i was crying and didnt know what to do called bank that day but fruad dep. Already closed for the day then they called agian and wanted more recorded verifications and one time my other half grabbed phone and said until i see what they promised not call back in a very mean worded tone because they made our acct go from 19$ to -175$ WITH THERE FRAUD CHARGE and they havent stopped calling i just keep hanging up and turning my phone off right after. I fell sorry for the next hard working decent person trying to survive they target as it has made my life much worse with a never ending domino effect day to day but i am filing fraud with my bank and changing my acct #s and possibly my phone # thanks for being here for us to vent and release some frustration and grief about our situations Thanks usacomplaints.com.
