Recently, I discovered a $9.00 charge on my bank statement. Looking into it, I discovered it was charged last month as well. That's two months of charges. I have never even heard of this company!
When I call the 888 number for WLIReservationrewards, an automation gives me a web address. When I try to access the ewb address on the internet, surprise, surpise, it errors out. I get nothing.
I contacted my bank. They told me it was an authorized transaction on my check debit card (Visa). I told her I have never heard of this company, and I want my money back, period! She told me they can refund me the $9.00 for this month, but not the $9.00 for the month before. I plan to make a visit to the local branch of my bank and make a complaint in person, demanding my full $18.00.
When I first discovered this, I told my daughter I just wanted them to stop taking any more from my account, I mean we're only talking $18, right? She made the point, if a company like this is allowed to do this to 10,000 people, that $9.00 will make them rich. Rich off our own money! We all need to demand every penny of our money back. Don't let this company (or any other) get away with this crap! Let's all fight back!
