While viewing my Visa bill online, I noticed a charge of $11.00 from WLI*RESERVATIONREWARDS. I have never heard of this Company and immediately did a search on the Internet and found the website http://www.reservationrewards.com. I made a report to the police department, emailed my Visa Credit Department and sent the following email to Reservation Rewards:
"There are several unauthorized payments taken from my visa account by RESERVATIONREWARDS that I recently found in the amounts of $11.00 on the 17th of each month! I never signed up for any rewards program with your company, nor have I ever heard of RESERVATIONREWARDS before! I have contacted the authorities including my visa bank and have forwarded them the details of your doings and will take legal action!"
I received a call from the Visa Credit Department the next morning. They linked me up via 3-way with Reservation Rewards and stayed silent while they recorded the conversation.
I was told by Reservation Rewards that my "so called" membership with them has been cancelled and that they will send me a full refund of all the payments they took.
I found out that they got my info from movietickets.com where I once purchased movie tickets a long time ago. According to Reservation Rewards, "I" was the one who signed up with them! Ya right! I live in Canada and would actually signup with a company to get rewards from the USA!
Anyways, they said that they'll give me a full reimbursement within 5 days. The Visa Department told me after that if they don't, they'll go ahead with leagal proceedings.
Please include me in an lawsuit launched against this Company. Apparently they are a sub-company of WEBLOYALITY.
Beware of movietickets, reservationrewards & webloyality
