I just received a bill for $14.95 through Enhanced Services Billing, Inc. For a technical assistance call to Traveller Information Services. I don't use that service, and the billing is false.
I called SBC SNET (local company) and told them about the billing. They said to handle it with them because they are required by the FCC and Department of Public Utility Control to accept ANY billing from other services regardless of whether it is true billing or not. It shows who is protecting their customers. I called (888) 299-3724 to reach ESB and was on a hold recording without any hope of talking to anyone.
Why would I use Traveller Information Service anyway when much of the information they provide is for free online.
