Nevine Carmelle advertises in the LA Times as a tax problem specialist setting up corporations for asset protection. Steven Sears advertises the same service in the LA Times.
Carmelle knows nothing about tax law. She charged $800 to form a Nevada Corp including consultation to set it up, then refused to do any further work until she was paid more money. Carmelle works for attorney Steven Sears who claims this work was done by an outside company but in fact, he owns and operates this company out of the same office (see his website www.searsatty.com).
Sears offered to provide advice for $350 an hour. I called another attorney and described their work and he laughed... Saying the legal strategies they employ would never hold up in court and would place me in financial jeopardy!
The work was never completed and Carmelle/Sears refused to provide a refund. Don't make the same mistake and hire these two bozos... You'll be sorry.
