Ramada Plaza Resorts Orlando Ft. Lauderdale Vacations Misleading advertising and Misrepresentation of services offered - I have been scammed, but I am not going to take it lying down

Hello All,

Unfortunately, I have found this website too late, having paid for $698.00 worth of this snake oil a little over six months ago, trusting that the vendors had given me what I paid for. I recently set out to paying the rest of what my fiance and I owed, but the exorbitant price of $1711 dollars set my alarms off.

I tried to justify it in my head, being that this vacation was supposed to be our honeymoon and it is florida after all. But if you do the math, that is about $244 dollars per night, for seven nights. I dont care if there is a rental car or not, cruise or no cruise, I have stayed at Ramada Inns before, and there is no justification for that price whatsoever. So I thought about all the little bonus trips. If you actually got around to booking them 60 days in advance, and used about 6 of those trips, and added those nights to the original 7 day Orlando rip-off, (then dividing 1711 by 13) it would still come out to about $100 dollars a night. Still, who would want to pay that much per night for a smelly mattress and holes in the wall???

So I got online, started checking prices, and found that I could book my own vacation, at a nicer resort, and pay the same price INCLUDING AIR FARE. Now, this is where I start to get pissed off. I finally see this site, and have come to conclusion that I have been taken, hook, line, and "voucher". I am going to call this organization tomorrow and get my fiance's and my hard earned money back. I may not be able to get the $698, but I will be damned if $1013 of my fiances hard earned dollars go to a bunch of COCKROACHES, figuratively and LITERALLY.

The person who posted the information for the Economic Crimes Division has a really good idea. I have made up my mind to call up Ramada Inn/Ft Lauderdale tomorrow, record the conversation, render it into a typewritten format and send it to these people over at the Attorney Generals office in Florida. Next I am going to do my part to barrage this office with letters and phone calls. This post is just a little taste of what I am going to do. I may not be able to salvage my hard earned $698.00, but you can count me as employed for the cause of shutting down this fraudulent operation for whatever thats worth. Right now I am working min. Wage, and a college student, but I figure each letter I send them will be well worth my. 37 stamp, if only for a bit of personal satisfaction. PLEASE, if any one out there has been taken for this scam and recieved their money back even after having paid for it over six months time, let me know.

Their advertising is most definitely false and misleading, it is a travesty for the attorney general to let this go on for this long (Since 1999 with 600 complaints)!!! Isn't Florida the state where those people in the trailor harbored a convicted sex offender who murdered that little girl, and have yet to face any charges? And I thought CA was screwed up for the longest time...
