Ramada Plaza Resorts Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale Vacations, Florida State Attorney General's Office
Ripoff Continues since 1999 or earlier, Call Florida State Attorney General re: Ripoff

Case #L05-3-1053

This rip-off has been going on since at least 1999 and the Florida State Attorney General's Office has yet to act on it?! I suggest you call their division which is "handling" this case. It is the Attorney General's Economic Crimes Unit, and it is Case #L05-3-1053. See this URL:

Point out to the Florida State Attorney's Office that nothing has been done about this and they are allowing thousands of new victims continuously. Their direct number for the Economic Crimes Unit is Voice: 850-414-3600, Fax: 850-488-4483. Their mailing address is:

Economic Crimes Division
Office of the Attorney General
The Capitol
Tallahassee, FL 32399-1050

Their physical location is:
Collins Building
Fifth Floor
107 West Gaines Street
Tallahassee, FL

Thanks to the people here, I googled before I called that tempting toll-free number that Ramada Plaza Resorts provided, and found all of the 673 consumer complaintss listed here. I would like to be included and notified by email of any class-action lawsuits against this company. I believe they should reimburse EVERYONE who received one of these rip-off scam vacation package vouchers.

Mine was the standard "Your responsible Financial history has earned you this $1,600.00 travel voucher." It supposedly includes '3 Nights of "Gold Key" Award Winning accommodations in Sun-Kissed South Florida, ' a 'Round-trip cruise aboard Carnival Cruise Lines or Imperial Majesty Cruise Line, ' 'Port of call on the beautiful Island of Nassau, Bahamas, ' 'Two nights of "Gold Key" Award Winning accommodations in Magical Orlando, Florida, ' '7 Days transportation by Alamo Rent-A-Car during your vacation.'

I urge everyone to contact the Florida State Attorney General's office at 850-414-3600 about Ramada Plaza Resorts, being investigated in Case #L05-3-1053. This should have been taken care of years ago and points to government corruption or incompetence. Do they even care how many people are ripped off? Maybe we could sue the State of Florida, too! And what is the FTC doing about this?!
