I was looking to supplement my income to avoid filing bankruptcy as the result of a completely different scam I am a victim of involving real estate investment. I contacted Global, and was told all of the lies that are reported in other postings regarding this company.
I forwarded this company $6,995 via wire transfer at the beginning of December. It was at this point that I stopped getting return calls and was not able to talk to Phil any longer. Kim, the receptionist would answer every call and either leave me on hold "while she went to look for Phil" and never come back to the call, or she would take my name an number insisting that someone would get back to me. No one ever returned my calls.
In Januarty of after still not receiving any merchandise, I had a lawyer write them a letter demanding they refund my monies immediately.instead of a refund, I started getting contacted from Roadway Express regarding how I was planning to pay for the shipment and where did I want it to be delivered. When I found out that the initial quote of $600 was actually $3,200 for freight, I was livid.
Roadway was actually very nice about the situation, and checked on the shipment for me. My contact indicated that the load was all junk. I then refused shipment, and tried to contact Global to resolve this issue. No one has ever returned my calls. I am now getting letters from Roadway demanding payment, and I have no way to pay for this shipment.
I filed a report on the FBI website in early Janyary and also escalated the issue to the NY Attorney General's Office. I am not sure if anything will come of it, but I am hoping that this company is stopped soon before they rip off many more people.
