I received a bill in November for a 1 minute call from my home phone. I immediately contacted the company because it was dated 10/30 and we were in the middle of a move as a result of the hurricanes last year. I disputed the bill and asked for some evidence or at the very least some sort of verification. Nothing else was happened until the last couple of weeks where Jim called me several times. I keep telling him I want some proof.
Finally he said "It's only $10.00 pay it or don't pay it, we've already reported it to the credit agencies and then he hung up on me. I called the company back and said before I file a complaint with the State Attorney's office and the FCC, I request supporting documentation to validate the charges. All they did was fax me a copy of the old bill. I decided that I will file the comlaints tomorrow.
