Ripoff possible solution to the scam they are commiting I was a victim too In Legal terms they may be considered for breech of contract/false advertisment and mail fraud which US law states the misuse of the US postal service is a felony

Oh my what a scandal. I remeber my husband and I reading our "confirmation" letter stating I had won a cash prize of over $500,000 over and over looking for the catch. To us we couldnt find one although our better judgement said their was. We decided to take a risk and send the "Processing fee" of $21.95 that they requested within their deadline to claim our money that was "gaurenteed" and that we had "already won" weeks went by before they even deposited our check. I am squirming now because these crooks may very well have acess to my checking account information.

Now two weeks after it has processed still nothing... Although I have recieved 2 more letters from other companies now asking me to send them money to be entered into a sweepstakes. Their letters made it clear that that money was an entry fee and nothing was guarenteed. (I wonder though if SIRS sold my information to these people considering that I JUST moved in to my new apartment and havent put in change of address forms yet) My letter that also gaurenteed me the "cash prize I had already won" had a 60 day money back gaurentee if you write in stating why you are disatisfied... I am going to send them my letter stating the following...

TO S.I.R. S Administration and Company Chairman,
(In lamiens terms whomever runs the company)

My disatifications are as follows... in a months time of recieving my notification of my cash prize winnings I have recicieved no further contact from your offices. I sent in my processing fee of $21.95 as asked and within the deadline which you promtly deducted from my checking account. When my efforts to contact your company failed I went online to find more information in regards to the legitmacy of your company. I was shocked at what I found. I find it highly unlikely that 100's of people won the same amount of money as me and within the same time period. And surprise surprise when they fullfilled their part and sent their processing fee's to you as well they have also recieved no contact back. Scam I think yes, Mail fraud quite possibly, breech of a contract a push but maybe a good attoreny can prove this as well, false advertisment most definately!!!

I am requesting my $21.95 be promtly refunded to me. As your original letter states I have 60 days to request a refund in writing I am doing so. If my request is ignored be prepared for legal acttions to be taken against you. I have copies of both this letter and the letter you sent me stating I had won, there are records at the bank of your deducting the funds from my account and this letter will be sent certified mail so I will KNOW you recieved it (I will keep copies of my reciept as well so others know you recieved this as well). Somebody had to sign for the PO BOX and I will hold THAT person responsible. Also I will be getting a petition started with those that your company has decieved and victimized and it will be turned in to not only the Consumer Protection Services in Las Vegas but the BBB.

I am sure that the many are willing to provide evidence of my same complaints. I hope that you can fulfill all the obligations you have promised people. I also sincerally hope that you do in fact have a buisness liscense and that you are reporting your earnings to both your federal and state taxes. I would hate to think that your company is not only stealing from the citizens in the United States (as well as England) but the government as well. I expect a speedy response.

Regards,

If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Also if you would like to supply your name to the petiton I talked about I will be finding out how to get a legal petition started. This is wrong!!! The amount of $21.95 is not much but multiplied adds up quickly. There is no telling how much this company has earned praying on innocent people. The letters they sent us assured us over and over that this was not a scam that we did in fact win this money. SMART people fell for this, people that developed hopes and dreams for the money they were promised to recieve. For some it gave false hope and may have caused depression when they realized they had been a victim of a cruel trick! Together we may be able to stop them.
