Yes, I too have serious problems with SPS. My husband and I are now having difficulties refinancing our home because of them.
Our payments are due on the 27th of each month. Due to problems with this process, we had to make our payment on the 26th for the previous month. We paid by check over the phone with a live operator, and was given a conformation number. No problems right? WRONG!!! According to SPS information, our payment wasn't made until Dec. 3.
I checked my bank statement, and the money was taken out of my account on Nov. 29.
Our credit report is now stating a delinquent payment for our mortgage. Now this is making it impossible to refinance our home.
We have tried numerous times to call SPS to get this resolved. Unfortunately to no avail. One would think that if you had all of the information in writing, with conformation numbers issued by them, this would be a simple task. It has turned into a nightmare!
When I went on the internet, I stumbled upon these rip off reports by accident when I typed in SPS. It was horrible to find my same problem noted many times by consumers. It is even worse to know that there may not be an easy solution.
I will indeed help any of you with anything you may need. Something must be done!!!
