Accuse us of not making payment take too long processing payments

I couldn't believe that so many people are having trouble with this company I can't believe I'm not the only one!!!

We have had trouble with Ocwen since our loan was transferred to them in September. We did not even ask for our loan to be sold or transferred but you know they do it all the time. Anyway, we had made our August payment to our previous Mortgage Company at the beginning of August and had our return check as proof.

Well, Ocwen tried to say that we never paid that payment and still owed it to them (Ocwen). I called them every day for over a month attempting to get this resolved. They kept telling me it wasn't their place to contact the other company. I kept telling them I didn't screw up they did somehow so I shouldn't have to get proof. Well, this went on and on. I called them several times a day and have each time documented for future reference if it is ever needed.

I was not a very nice person when I talked to them because I knew I was right the payment was made and they had no right to call me a "liar" and tell me it was late. I finally had my bank send in the check as proof and they FINALLY sent me letters stating it was fixed. They only sent the letters after I demanded in writing that it be sent stating the problem they made was fixed. They said it was an error on the other company's part when they sent the information over. I know that isn't the case though when I had contacted the other company they said it was fine in their records and showed that YES it was paid.

Then in October they said my payment was late (didn't charge any fees though) when actually it wasn't. It only takes 3 days to get from here to California and it was over 10 days. They of course said they couldn't help the post office delivering late. I had never had problems before with bills not reaching their destination on time so I knew this wasn't the case. I spoke with one customer service rep and asked her if they were holding my payment until after the grace period for the interest and she said No they don't do that. But what was funny was the very next day they noted the account as receiving the payment.

Now in November it also took over 10 days for them to credit the payment to my account. I am very unsatisfied with the company and have only been with them for 3 months. I know after reading all these other stories that we may be in for some more major problems. If anyone can help us and give us some advice please do. They are a horrible Mortgage company, but I'm not afraid of losing my home. I will fight them every step of the way. They know this because with just the few problems I've had so far I stayed right on top of it. I made several calls, I have documented statements of every phone call, and who I spoke with. They won't win when dealing with me!!! I'm sure they don't even like talking with me because they know each time will be HELL!!!
