God help you if your loan is ever bought out by this group of liers.

My loan was bought out from First Family Financial, never had a problem before, always on time with payments, where they were reduced down when made on time for each year.

Then 2 years into that loan, Citi bought them out. I was doing fine with them until I asked to refinance the loan to get money back to pay for a roof on the house and do some updates.

The local branch had told me that my file had been tranferred to another location. I got in touch with the Charlotte NC office to see about the refinancing on my home. They told me that they were not doing anymore refinancing on this Moblie Home loan.

OK, so I tried to find someone that would take my loan. No one would take it from them. I continue to pay my payments though them.

I had run into hard times, I was put on SSI due to medical problems, I was unable to pay my payments on time and ask if they could help me out with a deferred payment. I was always told "if you pay this payment and call us back in two to three days we will see about doing this for you". (But they made sure they called me all the time if I was due, or sometimes even before I was due to see when I was going to make my payment.)

I would call and call worried about this being late on my credit, I would always get the voice mail, and no one would call me back, every month some one new would call to see when I would make my payment, or try to get a post dated check. (which I closed my account with the bank, because that's the first thing they would ask for) They had even sent in a post dated check 2 days early. No more post dated checks!

Due to not having a new roof my home was declined insurance, the age of the home and the bad roof. When the next person called I told them about this to see if they would put the insurance on it though the loan. I was told that they don't do this, It's my responabily to have that.

I received a letter in the mail that if I signed and mail back the paper that this was a deferred payment, and my account would come up to date. So I called them to be sure, "Yes, we will do this for you". So the local office faxed it over for me.

The next month someone called to ask when my payments would be made. Payments? No payments had been deferred. I talked until I was blue in the face, nothing resolved.

My file was then sent the the loss/Mitigation Dept. I was told to send in all type of proof of things and a hardship letter, which I done. Was told to Western Union a payment, that was return to me that they would not take. Was told due to no insurance thay could not take my payment. "You still have time to save your loan before we foreclose". I asked how much money I would need to pay to get my loan back on track, it was over $2,000.00. I had thought it was going to be $600.00. Told me it was my down payment to refinance. This company is crazy!!! And the interest on this loan is over triple to what the prior balance. The money is never the same, higher.

I went to the forecloure hearing and the paper work had been filed in the wrong county. So, waiting on another hearing.

Citi keeps calling to see what I'm going to do?
Help! Some one needs to check into all the offices that they have, this company is not right at all. How can they refuse payments on your loan if you are trying to make them? And should they have to put insurance on your home if you can't get any for the amount that owed on the loan?

Thanks,
Dawn
