In April we purchased a LCD Flat Panel HDTV 52inch for $3303.00 just last week we noticed a discoloration on the left side so I called Mitsubishi and they gave me the numbers of 2 local repair shops they work with so for $80.00 a repairman told us we have a panel going out a panel that Mitsubishi knows is faulty and are all faulty in this model of TV. We followed the process of faxing the diagnoses and proof of purchase to Mitsubishi when they contacted us they said they would replace the panel BUT we have to pay $225.00 for labor and a $40.00 reroute fee. SO Mitsubishi wants us to pay a total of $365.00 for labor to fix their knows faulty panel! We called them and asked if they would replace the TV or give us approx $2200.00 ($1892 for the panel and $365.00 for labor) they told us NO they would replace the panel only a faulty panel they know was in the TV when we bought it!!!
