I purchased a 1998 Mitsubishi Galant in the summer of 2002 from a Non-Mitsubishi dealer. I started having problems with the brakes and rotors in the front of the vehicle in a six month time frame. I thought my problems were over when they were fixed at a Non-Mitsubishi dealer. They were not! They were just beginning shortly after the brakes were fixed they started to make noises on and off. I kind of ignored it.
So in March I started to hear knocking in the rear panel of the vehicle, so I went to get it evaluated to find out what the problems was. It turns out I now need rear drums and rear rotors and front rotors! I only had the front rotors resurfaced one time. I cannot see how in the world it is possible that I need brand new rotors so soon! OOOH I do not like this one bit.
Mitsubishi knew just what they were doing when they invented these vehicles with these "faulty" brakes!
I will never ever in life again purchase another Mitsubishi!
