Sears Rewards Gift Cards Never Received — Customer Service Horrible!

I ordered two gift cards worth $100 and $40 in October and have still not received them.

After getting the runaround by the Sears customer service operators for two months, I was finally told that unless I had opted to pay an extra $13 for post office tracking (fyi — the actual fee charged by the post office is far lower than this), there is nothing Sears can do, and that I will just have to accept that I wil never receive the cards.

What's shady about the whole situation is that Sears IS able to go into their records and see if the cards have been used, but aren't able (or willing) to cancel or inactivate these gift cards and send out new ones even though they have told me repeatedly that the old cards that were sent have not been used.

I've been a Sears customer for over 10 years, but the pettiness they've showed in their lack of willingness to help resolve this situation is something I'm not willing to put up with from a company of this size!
