State Roofing Company with locations in Carrollton TX, Houston TX, Corpus Christi TX, etc is a shell organization with little to no assets and a fictitious business history.
I had an issue with this company posting handbills in my neighborhood despite a city ordinance to the contrary. When I tried to follow up with the local office in Carrollton, TX; I was advised they didn't know who could have distributed all the flyers for their company in my neighborhood and that they refused to come out and remove the signage. I had a "No Soliciting" sign posted on my door and they posted the handbill right over the sign.
When I contacted the corporate office in Houston I got a "So?" for a response and a hang-up.
Upon following up with the Attorney General of Texas and our local City Prosecutor, I learned of a variety of names used by this family for their business with branches in several Texas cities. To stay ahead of irate customers, State Roofing Company has been moving Northward in Texas and claiming 15 years of "satisfied customers" when the phone number they use on the handbills is only 3 weeks old.
This company clearly does NOT take responsibility for its actions and doesn't even list a valid TX contractor's license number for its local branch.
Avoid State Roofing Company.
