K & M Investments - Kirsten Dunn A Sub Of WLG ripoff dishonest and fraudulent misleading propterty investors Dallas, Fort Worth, Metroplex Texas

I had a very bad deal with this company from start to finish. We entered into this deal the second week in March o4 and here it is now the end of July 04. We called a number that was posted on a sign that buy, sell or refinance houses. So my husband thought it would be a great time to refinance our house that we have lived on for 5 years. We got a realtor by the name Donna Dearing which referred us to Kirsten DUnn a broker for WLG World Lending Group.

We called her and she responded immediately and came out to the house to start an application process. I had everything prepared for her that she needed made copies for her and started the process. She seemed very nice and willing to help us get through the process. Well that is when the nightmare started. She took some of my paperwork that was on legal size paper so she can make accurate copies, it took almost 1 1/2 mos before I got those back, that was one problem I had, the second is she told us that she can get us approved and we can have this process done in 2-4 weeks so it is no need to make a payment on our house.

Well instead of refinance approval she told us that we were approved for a new home loan and we can just buy a new home which sounded good to me and my husband at the time. We started that application started looking at homes.in the mean time she told us she could sell our home and get $14K from our home and get into the next one for about $3K, so we proceeded in that direction.

Well when we went to the table in May about closing for the sale our house the numbers dropped to $12K and then the numbers for getting into the other house went up to $6K. My husband and I did not agree to that because it was not what she told us at first, after thinking on it and the time that had lapsed in the process we decided to close on the sale of our house and just lease another home until we can get on our feet right with paying off some bills and getting our credit straight. Well time went on and we thought we were going to close in May, we had to get in contact with her to see what was taking so lond and she said the investor she had lined up backed out of the deal so she was trying to line up another one.

June came and she said ok all you need is an appraisal done and we can close in less then a week. Well we told her ok lets get the appraiser out asap so we can close, she said ok they will call you to set a time. Another week went by before we got a call, they came out that next day and then of course another week went by before we heard whether we were going to close. She asked us again if we wanted to buy a house we told her no not now since the numbers were changing so she went into the spill of her not getting paid she put to much into this deal and she will see if her investor still wants to do it. Well she came back to us saying once the lender approved her investor the numbers were dropping to $8K then she said she is still losing money, she asked us to call the mortgage company to tell them that we did not want to keep the house and to let them advance to foreclosure process so she can get the house at a discount.

We told her no because if we did that and her numbers changed again then we will be without nothing. She did not like that and after about a week of waiting she called back and said she talked her investor into staying in the deal but to do so we had to give up more money to profit the investor to keep him in the deal. So that dropped us to $7K. We went through a whole week of hearing we are closing today at 10 am then we never got the direction or number, then she would call back and say ok tomorrow at 10 this went on for a whole week.

The title company called me to get payoff info for our house and we asked her about our closing time that day and she said she had not gotten the clear to close from the lender so she is not sure why Kirsten kept telling us this. She told us until we hear from her personally not to get our hopes up on closing, well of course Kirsten kept calling us telling us we are closing today for about another week. Well when the title company did call we called Kirsten to comfirm the final numbers she had given us a week before. Well to our surprise we had dropped to $5K and beacuse we had been in this process so long and without paying on our home we thought it might be best to close to keep from going into foreclosure since it is now the end of July, so we went up there to be surprised again with getting less then $3K.

This was it we did not sign and left. We got a call from the lender's bank asking us what happened and we explained everything to her from March til now and she vowed to make sure we got what we were promised if we still closed the deal. So we agreed to only find out the 2nd trip to the title company Kirsten calls in the middle of signing papers to tell us that her and her investor Joe Winn decided that they will not do the deal because she will not get paid. So from March till now it is one day before August we have been through a total mess with this so called broker/investor. Full of false promises and trying very hard to get over on us. So when you call posted sign that say we buy, sell or refinance houses beware of people like Kirsten who will try to get you backed into a tight corner to get what she wants.
