Customer service in kitchen cabinets is the worst

I started my kitchen project and from the begining have been dealing with Lowes. The very best incident was the fact that my wife and I go over to inquire about cabinets, yes we are new to this but none the less,
I see a gentleman in the kitchen cabinet area whom we approach and explain what we are looking to do, this guy PROCEEDS to redirect us to another women in that department.

This bothers me, so I come back another time see the same guy and proceed to explain what I am in need of, this guy TED tells me that the women in that department can help me, his exact words "Because I am so close to leaving it is rediculous.' This is what the department head tells me.

I get what I need through the women in this department. However they put the size of my cabinets in wrong, so my wife calls to get this corrected, and TED proceeds to give her the run around, telling her she has to wait until the other cabinets are FINISHED and DELIVERED to do this, now let me say this has been like 4 days after the initial order, and was told by the women April, we have up to a week to do this.

Feeling there was something else that could have been done, I call over to the store and talk to TED. I asked if he could look us up on the computer and change the order from there, his exact words, "You are having me jump through hoops." Now I could have sworn this was part of there job. And TED tells me that nothing can be done until Monday because the cabinet company is not open on Saturdays and explains to me that we can just cancel and change the order. As you will notice that is different from what he told my wife not more than 15 minutes ago. Now I say ok TED, will you be in Monday so I can come over and we both can call and get the order corrected. TED says yes, I will be here at nine.

Monday rolls around and I PUNCH OUT from WORK to lose money to do this. When I arrive at the kitchen department at 8:55 no one is to be found. Finally a women waits on me, and I tell her I have a 9:00 meeting with TED, she then tells me... Ready for this, TED WILL NOT BE IN FOR 2 DAYS! TED, is my time not worth anything! I finally get to talk to an assistant manager who is younger than I am, and I am 27. I am polite to the assistant manager because he did not do this, but I explain to him that I needed to correct an order. He makes a NOTE and puts in on a desk in the kitchen cabinet department. Very nicely handled. I get back to work where I am good and mad I call the cabinet company just to find out they are open on Saturday.

I now have my cabinets and the correct size so things seem to be going smoothly, I need to order my countertop. My wife and I plan to place the order. We wait for assistance in kitchen cabinets, have someone paged (APRIL apparantly is on duty) for 1 hour 45 minutes we waited, NO ONE IS AROUND, finally my wife asks the APPLIANCE rep to have a manager assist us. He does, he makes a NOTE and leaves it on the desk, by this time APRIL shows up, in the Appliance area dressed as if she were on her way home. She makes her way gradually to us after talking to her co-workers for a good 10 minutes, knowing we are, and have been waiting for her. She (APRIL) places the order and explains to me that I need to call and let them know the center of my sink and if everything is square.

I take the dimensions, and call over to the store, I am holding for kitchen cabinets WHO NEVER ANSWED! Finally about 4 days of this I call in the morning from work and get, thats right TED. TED seems to be clueless and uncoporative however he makes a NOTE and looks my order up on the computer and tells me that the delivery should be at Lowes the 26th of July. Thanks TED

A few days go by and we hear nothing like a confirmation call. So my wife calls ktchen cabinets, NO ONE ANSWERS, finally about a half an hour of this, the guy in APPLIANCES answers, and she explains to him the situation, and he LOOKS IT UP ON THE COMPUTER and says the same thing, delivery to the store July the 26th.
The 26th comes and goes, The guy from APPLIANCES calls me on the 27th and tells me APRIL won't be in for two days, and he is calling to let me know my countertop IS NOT IN, when did they start doing that?

So here it is Friday the 30th of July and I call this morning hoping to get an answer because I would like to work on this tomorrow, no TED, no APRIL, no Appliance guy, a totally new person, ok he tells me someone else took the order and it WILL NOT be delivered to the store until the 6th of August. Disgusted completely, I thank him and hang up.

Any one reading this will think it is a bit far fetched, but think about it would I make all this up just to type all this out. Please realize, TED is a department head. I have delt with this since March and have yet to have a good experience there, and I have spent roughly $10,000 on my kitchen and did my roof last year using all of their materials ($3,000).

I think they need to re-evalute their staff and hire some self motivated, out going people. People beware of lowes kitchen cabinet customer service, lurking in st. CLAIRSVILLE OHIO!!!
