I will not recommend this company to anyone. We had a kitchen fire and smoke damge in our home and Servpro was contacted by our insurance company to clean the smoke damage to our home and they did a miserable job. They did not complete the cleaning agreement and they damaged our bed, flooring, and disposed of kitchen appliance without our knowledge. When this was brought to the attention of the owner, he and another individual came to our home to "inspect" the damges. Immediately they attempted to intimidate me with a rather firm and strong handshake and this behavior continued during their "inspection". An incident occurred during their "inspection" that was utterly disgusting and very unprofessional. The owner of local franchise of Servpro disrespected my father, who was at my home to help us repair damage. The owner yelled at my father and was very ugly to him. I was not in the room when this happened; however, I was on the same level with one room and two doors in between us when I heard the owner yell at my father. I confronted the owner and asked why he yelled at my father and his reply was "I did not yell. I raised my voice." There is a difference between yelling and raising your voice and when an individual can hear it over a saw, one full room with two doors closed, you are yelling. This owner refused to apologize to my father and then continued to say that my father was rude in using the saw. This happens to be one reason our society is like it is, no respect for others and especially your elders; my father is over 65 years old. For that reason in itself is why I would NOT RECOMMEND Servpro to anyone.
