We had damage to a piece of furniture that we had purchased the Guardsman protection for. When we called to report the damage I told the woman on the phone that we were Military and in the middle of a move that we did not have a destination address for. I asked her if we should hold off on filing the claim until we had an address. She said no, to go ahead and report the claim and then mail the paperwork after we got an address, which we did. Weeks later I received a letter saying that our service request was denied due to the time frame elapsing. I called the customer service number and explain what the first woman had told me and they flat out refused to honor what I was told.
