We went to Ashtonwoods Savannah Park place seven times before we decided to we liked one floor plan. Our Realtors were there with us the first time. The sales rep did not allow us to put down a realtors name at the time of the contract.
After we signed the contract we immediately provided all the necessary documents that were needed to the builders preferred lender Wells Fargo. They immediately prequalified us. We inquired once a week about the loan and they told us that everything was going smoothly.
There was a 30 days contingency period in the contract in which time we needed to know the status of the loan.in case the loan was declined we could get our deposit back. The lenders came back on the 31st day and said that they cannot proceed with the loan. Now the sales rep at Ashtonwoods is refusing to terminate our contract and give the deposit back and forcing us to get a loan from FBC mortgage.
