Recently refinanced my home for a lower interest rate. During the process of the loan I was promised on several occasions by the loan rep., Ian Reynolds that the loan would be with Wells Fargo, even at closing in my home I call him and ask why Wells Fargo wasn't on the paper work and he stated they are a bank and it would be transfered to Wells Fargo by August and we signed the loan docs. Today I got paper work that it has been transfered to Citi Mortgage. I have yet to receive the appraisal on my home which I paid for and the loan rep will not return my phone calls. Like usual in the mortgage biz, tell them all the lies you can till they sign and then never talk to them again. They need to be put out of business.
