We hired Mark Willis roofing/home improvement in 2005 to replace our roof and our dormers. From the beginning the job was a mess. He tried to fool us 3 times by using subpar materials. We paid to have him install hardi-plank on our dormers. He tried to pass off regular siding as the hardi-plank which is more expensive. We told him to replace it. He did come back and replace it only to install the materials incorrectly. We told him he needed to replace and try again. It took threatening a lawyer and 3 months for him to come back and finish the job. Our roof has leaked almost every year since he installed it.
He has had to come out 3 times to install flashing which he did improperly on one window. Then during the 2010 rains, our roof leaked again. We came out and tried to blame it on tennis balls in the gutter (which is below the leaking problem) and when that didn't work he tried to blame it on the caulking that he said we had to replace EVERY year. He refused all phone calls.
We took Mr. Willis to court, not once, but twice and have won a settlement both times. We are currently suing to get our monies for he has said that he has no intention of paying. Do not use this company. He is a con artist.
