I have a Sears Kenmore Elite Washer that I bought in July.in that time, I have had it repaired 5 times! The last time was in July of last yr. It broke again this September. Sears wants me to pay again to have it fixed. I refuse beceause it is, and has been the same problem each time. Their solution is to get me to buy an extended warranty. I will not do this because the machine has never worked correctly from the beginning and I will not pay for a lemon. I havegone through all of the correct channels - customer service - 3 days - totaling over 4 hours of my time to no avail. I was on hold for an hour waiting for a supervisor at one time and another time I was transferred to a Whirlpool customer service rep. I wrote to the Board of Directors and the Corporate Heads because I was told I could not contact them any other way. My letters went out weeks ago. I have yet to get a response from anyone! I have a busy family of five (one who is night time potty training) and have to do my laundry at a laundry mat right now. I am frustrated at the thought of my hard earned money going out the window when I have a washer that should be useable and no one wants to take responsibility for the repeated problem I have had since we bought this machine.
