I worked for McKinnis Roofing, Blair NE. As a Sales Rep. After selling several jobs, they refused to pay the commissions earned.
They screwed up one of the jobs, and had a BBB complaint filed against them. They lied when they said they couldn't pay because of this, and it was already settled.
They accepted a deposit from another customer, decided they didn't want to do the work, did not inform the customer who's roof is leaking. Finally I believe they returned the deposit over a month late.
They sold lots of jobs and didn't have the crews to get them done. At one of the sales meetings the owner said he is proud of the number of jobs he hasn't gotten done.
