Sears Customer Service Does Anything But Service - Washer/Drye

My name is Marsha Garrett, and on February 12th I went to the Sears Outlet center in Deptford, NJ and purchased a new washer and dryer. I had asked for pedestals as well, but the sales associate forgot to ring them up at the transaction. Therefore, I had to return to the store a few days later to purchase the pedestals. I did this with a smile on my face, happy for the fact that the mistake was caught taken care of, or so I thought. When the appliances were delivered, the delivery men brought the washer and dryer upstairs, along with the pedestals, and then realized that they were not provided with the necessary instructions, or equipment to attach the pedestals. I immediately contacted the store to inquire what had happened, or what had gone wrong, and they said that they did not understand and blamed the delivery men for not having what they needed with them. The delivery men said that they were never given the instructions, nor the equipment to begin with. They hooked up the washer and dryer so that we could use them in the mean time, while we waited for Sears to contact us later, because they said they would after they had found out where the hardware was. Unfortunately, I gave them a week, and they never called. I continued to call the store two to three times a week for an entire month, and was even insulted by the store manager Jeff for being upset with the situation, until finally someone gave me an answer. They would need to order the parts from the manufacturer and they did not know how long it would take to arrive.in the third week of April, the delivery men arrived with the hardware, and then attempted to attach the pedestals to our washer and dryer. Unfortunately, again, the washer pedestal attached fine, but the dryer pedestal did not. They called the distribution center and were told that we should call the store. The distribution center and the delivery men were very apologetic, and felt bad about the situation, but there wasn't anything that they could do. The Monday after the failed attempt to attach the pedestal, I called the store again and they said that they would check into it saying that the hardware should have worked. Once again they never called back. I instead called them and asked what was happening, and they said that the parts should have been right and they didn't know how to fix it. At this point I was completely tired of the whole situation that I told them I wanted to return everything. They said they would make arrangements to pick everything up, that I would be credited back, and would receive cash for all the payments that I had already made. I never received a call that the arrangements were made, and so I called them again to inquire about the arrangements. The manager offered to sent people back here to attempt once again to attach the pedestals, as well as a fifty dollar gift card. I told him no thank you, I just want to send everything back. He then became very curt with me and said he would make the arrangements. I asked if this could happen on Monday (today), and he said he would call the distribution center who would then give me a call and a time on Sunday. Once again I never received a call. So today, I called the store again and then was put on hold for a half an hour and never got the chance to talk to anyone. I'm tired of being sent in circles, and being told I will be called back, when it never happens. I just want this to be resolved because it's extremely inconvenient. My son missed his classes today because we didn't know if anyone was going to pick up these appliances today or not. No one at this store is being helpful in the least, and in fact they are just down right rude. I know this review is long, but it's only because these problems started back in February and it is now May 2nd. I can only hope that this problem will be resolved, and soon.
