LEVITZ-STAINSAFE Levitz & Stainsafe Are a rip off My claim open 11

On 9 I bought a Double Reclining Sofa & a Large Reclining Chair for a Total of $1645.47 & 7 Year Warranty and I Asked if this 7 Year Warranty is thru Levitz? & I was told yes.

I then started to have Problems with the Sofa & Chair In December When You Would Recline It would get stuck in Midd Air & Or Just not open at all. I Went Back to the store In December to ask about the Problem I was havening And I was told that they needed to wear in they just tight let them self work them self in Per S. Beraye That sold me the Sofa set.

Well In March I Thru Out My back And Had to Have Back Surgery's And By October The Sofa & Chair would not open Or Would get stuck in midd Air. November I open a Claim With Levitz i was told at that point it will be sent to Stainsafe And I Then Asked who are these People And I was told that who holds the 7 Year Warranty. StainSafe Mailed a Claim Number 614154 And Service Tech came out to my house on December 23rd 2004.

I was Adv by The tech from Advanced Furniture That he Does not do this Kind of repair to the Furniture And I Called StainSafe back to adv of the Problem. Well They Said they would have to call me back to see what they can do about this Problem And In January I Called Levitz & Stainsafe to adv that i Have not had any one From Stain safe call me.

I Received a Call from Stain safe in January from Thomas He adv that a New Tech will come to house to fix the Sofa & Chair And Before the new Tech came out Advanced Furniture Called me At The End of January Asked if i had all the Parts & I Said No! At This Point i was very Mad About all The Problems I Called Stainsafe They adv that Levitz Would have to order the parts For the Sofa & Chair. I Then Called levitz Customer Service dept line I was told that Stainsafe has to order the parts That was per Kumara at Levitz this per was rude to me.

And I went to the store where i Bought The Furniture spoke to Manager Linda Nelson 408-979-7840. She Called Levitz Customer Service and Linda Nelson adv that the Parts have ben ordered as of February & to call stainsafe When I Receive The parts. I Received the Parts on March 25th and I Called Stainsafe Adv That i have the parts & I was Adv By Stainsafe That You should receive a Call by 1st Week of April From The Tech.

Well No One Has Called me so i Called Stainsafe back on April 9th to adv that no one has called to install these parts that i have in my house And I Was told That they Will Call the Install Company. I Received a Call from Furniture Renovation 805-226-2068 And I was adv by Furniture Renovation that they would needed a 3 hour time frame for this install & There Next Appt Date was May 4th from 1030 to 330pm.

On May 4th I Received a call from Furniture Renovation tech at 930am that he would have to cancel the appt time due to he sick And He Reschedule the Appt time on May 8th Saturday 630pm. Well The Tech took the parts out of the box's And The Chair Parts are not in the Box. I Adv to fix the Sofa And The Tech Worked from 630pm to 940pm to find out the back of the sofa will not mount on with the new parts & The Tech Adv That it looks like they changed the sofa in some way he does not know. So He had to leave the back's off the sofa off due to they will not mount and I have a sofa that is in parts.

I Went to Levitz Store spoke to the manager Laura Nelson on May 9 & I gave Laura Nelson Pictures of the sofa in parts & The Chair. I let Laura Nelson know that i am not happy about this due to it has been going on Since November And I needed my couch due to my back problem I only can site for 30 minutes at time & then I Needed to lay down while watching TV. I Was Told by Laura Nelson She will reorder the sofa & Chair and Pick up the old Sofa & Chair on Thursday 13th 2004. She Adv that she is doing this for me due to all the problems i have had And On May 9th I receive a call from a Manager at customer service Her Name was muckde?

I Think saying that this is not Levitz Problem It's Stainsafe so the new order will be cancelled i adv that I want to speak to her boss she adv that she is next to the ceo! & she was very rude to me on the phone. I tried to tell her that i paid cash $1645.47 in 2002 for this set & I was told so what after 1 Year it not Levitz Problem and People like me try to get Free stuff from Levitz. I went back to the store spoke with Laura Nelson she adv that she will send a E mail.

I have bought a lot of Furniture from Levitz in the past years & i Have Never ben treated like I Stole from Levitz. I Now Have A sofa in Parts & Chair that does not work And I do not know what to do at this point & I Gess I will have to file a small claims suite on Levitz & Stainsafe for Leave me a sofa in parts & Missed appts.
