Alamo Homes Rigdgecrest Addition in Watauga is a horrible place to live. The Builder, David Pokluda is a crook. Warranty issues are avoided by this builder.
His sales office never returns a single phone call after the new home buyer has closed on his/her property. You are not allowed to call David Pokluda who is the owner of the company. There is no recourse on any warranty issue. The land that the homes are built on is a landfill where rock and concrete was dumped. You cannot dig any holes for planting without dynamite.
The drainage is poor and water sits in the backyards for 6-9 months after a rain. The homes are overvalued by 20% The quility of craftmanship is extemely poor.
