I agree to the report created by Mr. Rajeev on 2/3 against M/S Alka India Pvt Ltd, New Delhi.
They have taken bookings inspite of getting NO licence from the govt for allotments of plots at aiplcityscapes at Haridwar, India. I have paid them rupees 1,50, 00/- as advance payment but now when I wanted to cancel my booking and asked for a refund in december they have issued me a postdated cheque for rs. 1,86, 450/- for 1st june but later kept advising me to delay depositing this cheque in my bank since apparently they did not have sufficient funds. The chairman Mr. Ratan never meets any of the customers nor does he answer their calls. Finally, I deposited the cheque in Nov into my bank and the same was returned for insufficent funds in their account!
Thereafter, I have sent them a notice through my lawyer and also filed a case against them for the above reason in Feb but they have not responded to my lawyer's or the court's call and now bailable warrant will be issued against them in the next few weeks, but I am sure they will still try their delay tactics. I would like to caution other investors NOT to invest with m/s Alka India Pvt Ltd.
